One resizer, every Indian exam preset
Each page below pins the dimensions, KB range and DPI for one document. The resizer applies those values before you upload anything, so a photo is not stretched to a square or a signature is not cropped into an unreadable strip.
How to use an exam preset
- Pick the exam and document. Open the page for the photo, signature, thumb impression or declaration you need. The preset is already selected in the resizer.
- Add your file. Choose a clear photo or a clean scan. Cover crops to fill the frame; contain adds white space so no stroke is lost. The target KB, DPI and fit mode can still be adjusted.
- Download and check. Look at the output size shown by the tool. If the portal accepts only a narrow range, keep the file inside that range before you submit the form.
Common questions
Are these exam photo sizes official?
Each preset is based on the published instructions or the upload form used by the exam or portal named on its page. Exam boards revise rules between cycles, so the page links to the official source and shows the review date. Always confirm the current notice before submitting.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. The resizer runs in your browser and the file never leaves your device. Cropping, compression, DPI tagging and the final download all happen locally, which is useful on a shared phone or a cybercafé computer.
What if my file cannot reach the minimum KB?
A very clean scan can compress below a portal minimum such as 20 KB. Raise the JPEG quality or keep a little more background detail so the file lands inside the range. If the portal only enforces a maximum, a smaller file is usually accepted.
