CUET UG and PG use the same NTA application template, so the photo box is usually identical. The form is long and can time out, so prepare the photo and signature before you start filling it rather than hunting for a file at the payment step.

How to resize a CUET Photo

  1. Choose the CUET Photo preset. It is already selected on this page: 350 × 450 px at 200 DPI, with a 10–200 KB working range.
  2. Upload your photo. Use a recent, front-facing photograph with a plain light background. Keep the full face, both ears and the top of the head inside the frame.
  3. Download and check the file. The target is 80 KB. Confirm the output size shown by the tool, then upload the downloaded file to the official portal before the form closes.

Official CUET photo rules

  • Upload a JPEG between 10 KB and 200 KB.
  • Use the 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm passport box, exported here as 350 × 450 px.
  • Keep the background plain white and the face centred at about 80% of the frame.
  • Use a recent colour photo without a cap, mask or dark glasses.
  • Do not use a group photo, a screenshot or a photo with a visible border.

Why CUET photo files get rejected

  • The photo is a selfie or a cropped group photo.
  • The background is coloured or has a shadow behind the head.
  • The face is too small in the frame.
  • The file is 201 KB or 9 KB, outside the NTA window.
  • The image has been filtered so heavily that it no longer matches the candidate.

Frequently asked questions

Is the CUET UG photo size the same as CUET PG?

Both use the NTA application template and the same 3.5 × 4.5 cm photo box in recent cycles. Check the current information bulletin for the exact KB range before you upload.

Can I change the CUET photo after submitting the form?

NTA usually opens a short correction window after the application period. If the photo is rejected, use that window rather than creating a second application. The correction window dates are announced on the official CUET site.

What signature size does CUET ask for?

The CUET signature is a small running-hand JPEG, usually in the 4–30 KB range. Use the signature preset that matches the current bulletin and sign in black ink on white paper.
