How to resize a NEET Signature

- Upload your signature. Sign in running hand with a dark blue or black pen on plain white paper. Crop close to the strokes but leave a small white margin.
- Download and check the file. The target is 15 KB. Confirm the output size shown by the tool, then upload the downloaded file to the official portal before the form closes.

Why NEET signature files get rejected
- The signature is in capital or block letters.
- The scan includes a ruled line, a table edge or a shadow.
- The crop cuts off the first or last stroke.
- The file is 3 KB or 31 KB, outside the 4–30 KB range.
- The strokes are so thin that compression turns them grey.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use a blue pen for the NEET signature?
Use a black ballpoint pen. NEET's instruction is black ink on white paper, and a blue signature is an avoidable difference from the sample you will sign at the centre.
Why is the NEET signature box so wide?
The 140 × 60 px box matches the 3.5 × 1.5 cm space on the form. A normal running-hand signature is wider than it is tall, so crop close to the strokes instead of forcing the signature into a square.
What if my signature file is under 4 KB?
A very small file can fall below the minimum. Scan at a higher resolution and crop with a little white space around the strokes, then resize. This preset aims for about 15 KB so the file stays inside the window.
