How local processing works

When you select or drop a file into a tool, the browser reads the file directly into local memory using client-side JavaScript APIs (including HTML5 Canvas, the File API, and WebAssembly). All calculations, pixel resizing, and PDF merges execute entirely on your device's processor.

This means your files are processed at the full speed of your device, not throttled by your internet upload speed. When your work is done and you close the browser tab, the temporary working memory is instantly released. There is no remote copy, no database record, and no server log of your files.
