Supports JPG, PNG, and WebP format
The declaration is read by a person as well as a scanner. Write the exact sentences from the current IBPS notice, leave a line of space at the bottom for your signature, and scan the whole sheet flat. A tight crop that removes the last line is a common rejection.

How to resize a IBPS Declaration
- Choose the IBPS Declaration preset. It is already selected on this page: 800 × 400 px at 200 DPI, with a 50–100 KB working range.
- Upload your declaration. Write the declaration in running hand on unruled white paper. Keep the full text inside the frame and scan the page straight, without a shadow.
- Download and check the file. The target is 80 KB. Confirm the output size shown by the tool, then upload the downloaded file to the official portal before the form closes.
Official IBPS declaration rules
- Upload a JPEG between 50 KB and 100 KB.
- Use the 800 × 400 px box. The declaration is wider than it is tall, so do not upload a portrait phone photo without cropping it.
- Write the declaration by hand in English in your own handwriting, using the exact text in the current IBPS notice.
- Use black ink and plain white paper. Typed text, a printed sheet or another person's handwriting is not accepted.
- Sign below the declaration and keep the signature inside the same image.
Why IBPS declaration files get rejected
- The declaration is typed or printed instead of handwritten.
- The text is in Hindi or another regional language when the notice asks for English.
- The last line or the signature is cut off by the crop.
- Blue ink, a ruled sheet or a shadow makes the scan look like a photocopy.
- The file is 49 KB or 101 KB, just outside the allowed range.
Frequently asked questions
Can I type the IBPS declaration and upload it?
No. IBPS asks for a handwritten declaration in your own handwriting. Type the text elsewhere if you need a reference, then copy it by hand onto white paper and scan the sheet.
What text goes in the IBPS declaration?
Use the exact paragraph printed in the current IBPS notification. Do not reuse text from an older cycle; the wording and the language requirement can change between advertisements.
Why does the 800 × 400 px declaration look stretched?
A portrait phone photo does not match the wide 2:1 box. Crop the sheet to the declaration area first, then let the tool fit it into 800 × 400 px. The preset uses a cover crop so the handwriting keeps its shape.
